The performance speaks about the lack of authentic communication, of deep sincerity. Four characters, like rhapsodes of their own tragedies, piece together the puzzle of memory, whose subject is above all the struggle for self-discovery against the traumas that erode into the "stone" of the human being. Their speeches have different sounds (Clermont's is one of self-imposed silence, Coco's is overflowing with revolt; Shirley's, insolent and instigating, but revealing a visceral sincerity, while Pascale expresses candour and curiosity in the face of the immensity of life), but they are circumscribed by the need for genuine and inconsumable love.
