Tomis (from Ancient Greek:tomis - piece). According to one myth dating from Antiquity, Constanta was found by Aeetes: "When Aeetes discovored the daring deeds done by Medea, he started off in pursuit of the the ship; but when she saw him near, Medea murdered her brother and cutting him limb from limb thew the pieces into the deep. Gathering the child's limbs, Aeetes fell behind in the pursuit; wherefore he turned back, and, having buried the rescued limbs of his child, he called the place Tomis.
A few kilometers and centuries away, in a land called Ovidiu, an exisled Roman poet wrote his magnus opus, Metamorphoses.
Following the sacrifice of the legend, a contemporary passenger will witness the metamorphosis of the oniric topologi to the so-called anthropocene era. Fragments of the ephemeral human actions arise to the surface. Do butterflies remember the times in which they were hidden in their first home? May the soil find a way to endure.
